Polar WearLink is the first and only soft transmitter. The WearLink combines Superior Polar Technology with a fabric design. The electrodes, which pick up the heart's signal, are engineered right into the fabric strap. Comfort is key when training. That's why Polar created the Polar WearLink+ coded transmitter, which not only measures your heart rate, but also seamlessly adapts to your body shape so you feel as though it's not even there. The transmitter consists of an electrode strap and a connector, with a new side-clip mechanism keeping the belt secure. The WearLink+'s soft textile material, meanwhile, feels just like a piece of clothing on the skin. And when you're done with your workout, you can remove the anti-bacterial transmitter and throw the textile strap directly into the washing machine. Compatible with all Polar heart rate monitors, this version of the transmitter--which is coded to eliminate interference from other heart rate monitors nearby--is sized extra-extra small and comes with a user-replaceable battery.
