If you spend much time driving in unfamiliar territory, especially if you rent a car in large cities, a good portable GPS makes an unbelievable difference. And the Garmin Nuvi 255W is the best I found. First this thing just works. I have no problems with myself. It was easy to set up and find out directly from the box and is easy to use. It's never problems is sufficient signal unlike earlier models and was less expensive.
